AC compressor replacement cost is confirmed after an on-site diagnostic because price varies by equipment, warranty status, and installation conditions. We provide free estimates by phone, and if you approve recommended work the same day, the trip fee is credited toward the bill (50% credit for non‑members). On newer systems with parts coverage, replacing the compressor can be sensible; on older units with additional failures, a full system replacement may be more cost‑effective. Our techs also find and correct the root cause of the failure—like poor airflow or contamination—so the new compressor isn’t short‑lived. We perform this work frequently for homeowners around the Remington area.
Key price drivers we confirm during diagnosis:
- Compressor type and size
- Refrigerant requirements and recovery/charge
- Warranty coverage and needed parts (e.g., filter drier, line flush)
- Accessibility and labor time
Schedule a diagnostic so we can verify the cause, present options, and give you a written price before any work.
